Music Performance

Extensive experience in live acoustic and electric guitar performance. Regularly playing at my church, youth group and kids ministry. I also have experience playing at weddings, funerals, camps, conferences and other gatherings. These experiences have developed my public confidence, as well as my team collaboration skills and musicality. I also have experience with live sound mixing through my time serving at Mainly Music, and occasionally mixing at church.

Privately, I have also completed many programming challenges and projects, including various mobile and desktop apps, desktop games, microcontroller programs, scripts, AI models and data processing and presentation systems.

Electronics & Hardware

Bridging the gap between software and hardware through electrical engineering - designing and building custom solutions to everyday problems. My electronics projects have ranged from hobbyist: a lighting and control system for a hornby model railway and a temperature monitor with accompanying website, to professional applications: an overdrive and MIDI guitar pedal which I have used live.

Neuroscience

Inspired by Henning Beck's Scatterbrain, I have become highly passionate and interested in the science of the brain, to the extent that I intend to study neuroscience and research at university. At the ASMS, I have undertaken much research into the functions of the brain, including the mechanics of learning, cognitive architectures, and perception, and am presently co-designing an entire subject around neuroscience through Harvard's MicroBachelors Introduction to Neuroscience.
